About AprilRoseMore

At 16 years old, I was the youngest member ever accepted into the Watercolor Society of Oregon. I learned from some of the best nationally known jurors and my Mom, who was an artist and a teacher and owned a gallery on the Ashland plaza for 10 years. A photographer since 2008, my work has been published in; "Sunset Magazine", "Spectacular Wineries of Oregon", "Southern Oregon Magazine", and "Oregon Wine Press"; on a national best seller, "The Magician's Lie", by Greer Macallister; and on Kim Angelis's CD "Passages", which was nominated for Best Contemporary Instrumental Album of 2020. More are displayed on marketing materials, buses and permanently installed in Belle Fiore Estate and Vineyard's wine tasting room. Literary fiction photo journals I have published are "A One Way Ticket to Costa Rica" and "A Wish for Magic" on Blurb.com. "Emergence", a coffee table book of my fine art nude and boudoir photos will be published in 2024 accompanied by my drunken monologue on beauty and porn. I am AKA Whimsical Eye Photography, Avril Rose Images, and April Metternich.
